STRETCHING

“Without intervention, age-related declines in the range of motion (average of 1% per year) are inevitable unless you deliberately work on it”

Dr. Andrew Huberman, Neuroscience Stanford Univ.

Stretch therapy benefits all types of people, from elite athletes to people sitting at a desk all day.  Percussion therapy and cupping are incorporated into the treatment to help break up deep adhesions, increasing blood and lymphatic circulation allowing the body to heal.

Additional Benefits Include:

  • Full body detox
  • Improved posture
  • Relieve stress
  • Reduce pain and muscle tension
  • Enhance muscular coordination
  • Reduce risk of injury

The stretching techniques prescribed is a combination of PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) and Passive/Active Release Techniques.  This is a more advanced form of flexibility training which combines stretching and contracting the muscle group being targeted in order to achieve maximum static flexibility.
