Dr. Christopher Ortaleza is a licensed sports chiropractor with a strong focus on musculoskeletal ailments and prevention and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. He is an alumni of York University, Toronto, Canada where he completed a dual degree in Kinesiology and Business and received his Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) in 2021.
He is board certified for practice in both Canada and the United States and is currently working towards his qualifications to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (CCSP.)
As a former athlete, Dr. Ortaleza got to see firsthand how injuries impacted the sport. He was also able to see how many of these common injuries could have been avoided. It is because of this that he chose to focus on preventative pain management and the treatment of acute and chronic conditions: to help people get back into the activities they love and enjoy.
Driven by his passion for wellness and sports, Dr. Ortaleza is dedicated to improving the quality of life of all his patients.
Treatments may include Active Release Techniques (ART), Manual Therapy, Flexion-Distraction (spinal decompression), specific joint manipulation and postural assessments.
